CON: Hunt blue/green enemies. While they won't give you as many sp as higher level mobs, they drop Adena a lot.

DOWNTIME: during downtime you don't earn money. So try NOT to have any. This can be achieved by finding monsters low enough so your regeneration rate is faster than they can deal you damage.

AREA: Find an area which is barren of players. While some areas seem to be very well-suited to drops and money, you'll always lose money when you have to wait for spawns - worse, if you have to outrace other players hoping to be the one to kill the spawn.
Addition by Salendrak: Look for an area where every mob (usually there are 1-4 different types per area) is good game. This will make hunting easier. Btw - non aggro areas are usually easier to hunt in.

SOULSHOTS: While soulshots significantly speed up killing a mob, they waste 16 Adena each strike (32 if you use a bow). Unless your life's in peril - don't use them.
