The story of EQII is set 500 years after the events taking place in the first part. You will continuously shape your character, develop your skills, get new and better gear and improve the quality of your spells.

Human interactivity is also at its best in EverQuest II, thus in your quests for fame, glory and better gear, you’ll be able to form small groups for completing some quests much easier, form entire raiding groups to battle end-game bosses and of course form guilds and alliances with your friends. Besides the improvements in graphical and game-mechanism quality, the new spells, gear and monsters of eq platinum also gained a massive improvement in quantity. Final Fantasy XI sweep disables gil-farmers

On Monday, Square Enix made an announcement that more than 250 accounts were permanently suspended for violating the user agreement by using unauthorized third-party software tools for the purposes of ffxi gil-farming. Apparently, the investigation had been going on since mid-May, resulting in the discovery of an organized group gathering large amounts of gil and then selling it for real money.

The result of these efforts is the removal of 250 billion final fantasy xi gil from circulation in Vana'diel (estimated to be valued somewhere around $4 million in the real world). A previous sweep in February took out 700 accounts and removed 300 billion gil from the game.

Square Enix stressed that final fantasy gil-farming or RMT ('real money trading'), as they put it, will not be tolerated, and violations will be dealt with severely in order to ensure fair play within the game.

GROUP/SOLO? If you are in need of money, hunt solo, not in groups. The payoff for groups is always worse lineage 2 adena -wise.

CON: Hunt blue/green enemies. While they won't give you as many sp as higher level mobs, they drop Adena a lot.

DOWNTIME: during downtime you don't earn money. So try NOT to have any. This can be achieved by finding monsters low enough so your regeneration rate is faster than they can deal you damage.

AREA: Find an area which is barren of players. While some areas seem to be very well-suited to drops and money, you'll always lose money when you have to wait for spawns - worse, if you have to outrace other players hoping to be the one to kill the spawn.
Addition by Salendrak: Look for an area where every mob (usually there are 1-4 different types per area) is good game. This will make hunting easier. Btw - non aggro areas are usually easier to hunt in.

SOULSHOTS: While soulshots significantly speed up killing a mob, they waste 16 Adena each strike (32 if you use a bow). Unless your life's in peril - don't use them.

I’m a big fan of MMORPG’s, especially the fantasy genre. The exception to this was EverQuest due to all of the horror stories I heard about how unfriendly the game was to new players. With the upcoming release of EverQuest 2, Sony has combined all the previous expansions into one game and released it as EverQuest Platinum.

For those of you out there that don’t know what a MMORPG is, it’s a massively multiplayer online role-playing game. EverQuest (EQ), happens to be the most popular MMORPG in North America and has been around for quite some time. The game is enormous to say the least. Even from making your character you have a choice of 14 races and 15 classes with specialty weapons and armor geared toward each choice at every turn. When you start, you have to pick a server, and trust me, this could make or break the game for you if you are new to eq platinum and don’t have any friends whom you are meeting. They have 2 or 3 “newbie” servers, which is one of the ones I stuck with. Unless you have friends on one of the other servers, go with the newbie server, there will be other new players there and its much, MUCH easier to find a group.
